Organics Collection
The Durst Organization is the first commercial landlord in New York City to offer organics collection services to tenants. Our Organics Waste Lifecycle flyer illustrates the multiple phases of the program from the time the waste is collected from our tenants to when it returns as nutrient-rich soil to our buildings’ green roofs.
This is a free, convenient program that further reduces the amount of waste taken to landfills. Please contact the Building Services Department (Building-services@durst.org) for further details regarding recycling and organics collection.
