Elevators

One World Trade Center is proud to have installed the most sophisticated elevator technology in the United States. Please contact the Property Management Office for more information on how to use the One World Trade Center Destination Dispatch elevator system.

Passenger Elevators

The Building’s passenger elevators are designated for passenger use only. No deliveries or bikes are permitted on the passenger elevators at any time.

Service Elevators

The Building’s service elevators are designated for deliveries and vendor travel within the Building. Tenant employees and their visitors are not permitted to use the service cars for travel within the Building. Exceptions to this policy include access to storerooms or other tenant areas only accessible via the service cars.

There are 5 services cars available for use by tenant vendors with the following specifications:

The routine hours of service elevator operation are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding building holidays. Use of the service elevators during these times is free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis. No dedicated use of the service elevators is permitted during this time.

The service elevators are available for dedicated use before or after regular service elevator hours for an additional charge to tenants. Examples of uses that require dedicated elevator service include delivery of construction materials and furniture, tenant move-in or move-out, and the transfer by multi-floor tenants of stored items, supplies or materials that mandates several trips.

Please note that service elevator requests for weekend and building holiday use must be scheduled for a minimum of 4 hours. Reserving dedicated elevator service during weekends and building holidays may incur additional fees. Please contact the Property Management Office for applicable rates and conditions.

To Reserve a Service Elevator

To reserve a service elevator for dedicated delivery use, a tenant must submit a request to the Property Management Office through the AwareManager online platform. Please contact the Property Management Office for login information.

Note that charges will differ for requests that require staffing of the loading dock versus requests for use of the service elevators solely within the Building by multi-floor tenants.
