Policies & Procedures

No Smoking Policy

One World Trade Center has a Smoke-Free policy. This policy complies with applicable New York City and New York State laws. Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire Building (including the entrances and loading dock areas) without exception. Smoking is not permitted in private enclosed offices, conference and meeting rooms, cafeterias, lunchrooms or employee lounges. Failure of tenant compliance with this policy may result in a violation and fines imposed by the Department of Health or any other governing body against the tenant employer.

Smoking is not permitted within 25 feet of all building entries, outdoor air intakes, and operable windows.

It is the tenant's responsibility to document the Smoke-Free policy for its employees and to post “No Smoking” signs prominently within the tenant's space. Please contact the Property Management Office for any questions related to the No Smoking Policy.
